About MAP

This year marks the tenth year of the Access programme at NUI Maynooth. Our brief then, as it is now, was to encourage under-represented groups to enter third level and to provide these groups with support through their time here. These groups include under-represented school leavers, mature students, students with disabilities, travellers and refugees. We aim to encourage these under-represented groups to consider Higher Education as a real option and endeavour to provide access routes and post entry supports.
