Welcome to the Disability Office at NUI Maynooth. The Disability Office provides academic and personal assistance to undergraduate and postgraduate students at NUI Maynooth, in order to support our students with a disability through periods of challenge and change. We raise awareness and understanding of disability issues with students and staff, working to remove barriers to learning so students with a disability can participate fully in all aspects of university life.

We strive to create a community that is friendly and open and where diversity is expected and respected. NUI Maynooth has a reputation for being welcoming and we have a strong tradition of encouraging broader access to third level. We have a wide range of supports that put you at the centre of your academic journey. Our focus is to ensure that all students with disabilities are supported to become independent learners and to reach their academic potential through the development of an inclusive campus.
