LearningEnabled

This film tells the story of Jessie, a deaf student studying at tertiary level in Ireland. We begin with a scene from her home life, where she is clearly able to communicate with her family and friends. In college, it is not always so straightforward.

This is one of seven scenarios filmed as part of LearningEnabled, a suite of materials that can be used in awareness-raising activities. A website, DVD and lesson plans make up the initiative.

What is all this RSS and subscribe stuff? [ICON] RSS feed

You can be notified through your browser whenever we update parts of the site. For example, if you subscribe to our blog feed, you will receive a notification that we have added something without having to visit the site. This clip on YouTube from CommonCraft explains RSS very clearly. The BBC also have a very good explanation of RSS and how to use them on their site.
